Indian Essentials 10/29 (Lonsdale)


This menu is all the classic essentials you know to have an understanding of Indian cuisine. Each and every component is meant to take something familiar and expose the simplicity of it. You will be shown different techniques for each dish so anyone can find the method that works for them in any kitchen. It’s about feeling comfortable, outside your comfort zone. ENJOY!


Butter chicken: Classic indian dish consisting of dark and white chicken, yogurt, and spices.

Daal: Curried yellow split peas, with a rich spicy and sweet Garam Masala blend to be on top of Basmati rice.

Garam Masala: A Wholesome wintery blend of spices than can be used for a plethora of dishes to add body to your seasoning

Basmati Rice: I’ll be showing you two ways of making rice, in an electric cooker, as well as the classic way, in a pot on the stove.

Naan: A simple flat bread filled with flavour and dairy based, quick and easy to bake fresh at home.
